Case Study New Cattle Buildings

A Melton Mowbray farming family required new cattle buildings on outlying land but there were Leics County Council objectons for highway access and landscape reasons.

Landyke prepared a hedgerow survey and Hedge Removal Notice to make room for the access improvements, including specifications for the replacement hedge planting.

Landyke advised the client to position the building in a slightly differrent position, still in the same field, to take advantage of the slope and existing hedgerow and trees to make the buildings less obvious in their hilltop location

Once this problem was overcome the planning permission for the buildings was granted
